Abstracts Submission Instructions

The deadline for Abstract submission has passed


We will try to accomidate late abstracts, but please submit them ASAP. All abstracts should be sent to  CTCabstracts@uchicago.edu

  • The subject line of the email should be either the registration ID# that you received when you registered (e.g. 20001) or if you don't know that number, then use the email address you entered when you registered
  • The body of the e-mail should indicate choice of "slide talk", "poster presentation" or "no preference"
  • Please include your abstract as a pdf file attached to the email. (If you don't have a way to make .pdf there are several free products that you can find via google search e.g. cutePDF).
    1. Use 12 pt Arial Font
    2. List the authors using numbers to designate institutional affiliations
    3. Underline the name of the presenter
    4. Include the e-mail address of the presenter
    5. The abstract must fit on a single page (8.5" x 11" -- not A4)

Historically, more slide talks are requested that can be accommodated, so some attendees that request talks may be asked to present a poster instead

Talks will be 15 or 20 minutes long (not yet determined) including time for questions

Posters should be no larger than 3.5 ft x 5 ft (106 cm x 152 cm).  Posters will be set up in the atrium area outside of the main conference room in the Feinberg Pavilion. We plan to allow poster presenters a 5 minute (one slide) oral presentation, participation is optional.
